workout for the mind, body the soul and the spirit. Taking
influences from Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and dance, BodyART
is a discipline like no other. By mixing different modes
and styles Body By BodyART enables you to achieve a new
state of stability using your own body. With original and
mindful sequences and a realistic sensibility the BodyART
team leaders Robert & Alexa are able to increase your
focus, your awareness and most importantly your sense of
well-being.
This
video in particular is aimed at teachers and students alike.
Teachers will take great inspiration from the innovative
sequencing of movements as well as the presenters succinct
and stimulating delivery and style. Students wishing to
really enjoy a well-rounded and functional Body & Mind
workout will revel in its simplicity and functionality.
The
workout is 2 hours in length and has been split up into
individual sections allowing you to choose which “focus”
elements you prefer to work on enabling you to tailor the
workout to your individual needs.
Section
1 - Rhythmic Warm Up
Fluid and dynamic movements are linked to create a sense
of inner calm and warmth
Section 2 – Sun Salutation
Using the traditional Sun Salute this sequence allows for
greater warmth and mind focus
Section 3 – Lower Body Focus
Concentrating on movements that sculpt and define the lower
body.
Section 4 .- Lower & Upper Back Focus
Mindful of the importance of a good strong back this sequence
invigorates and creates a sense stability and line.
Section 5 – Abdominal Focus
Re focusing energy to the core muscles as well as instilling
good posture and form.
Section 6 – Breathing & Stretch
Returning back to a place of calm and serenity the body
is treated to a satisfying mix of traditional and yoga inspired
stretches and breathing.
